THE CHALLENGE
As SAM’s internal communications and engagement needs grew, the organization needed a way to strengthen culture and collaboration across departments — especially in a hybrid work environment.

THE APPROACH
While SAM’s operations team had an informal “Fun Committee,” I saw an opportunity to build something more intentional. I launched the Hive Connections Committee — a reimagined, mission-aligned group focused on internal engagement, cross-departmental connection, and culture-building. I developed the committee’s vision, recruited team members, and led monthly planning meetings.
